We didn’t see Kris Allen on “Idol Gives Back” but he’s been busy helping others as well. Allen, Season 8 winner, takes pictures with students from “School Without Walls” after speaking to them about his experience with the United Nations Foundation in Haiti, during a visit to Washington, on Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Allen visited Haiti with the Foundation and has spoken since about ongoing earthquake disaster relief efforts there.
Could this be considered Round 2 for Kris Allen and Adam Lambert?
Kris Allen’s self-titled CD arrives on Tuesday. Next week Adam Lambert’s “For Your Entertainment” CD is scheduled for release.
I think Lambert will sell more CDs and singles due to his marketability and hopefully because his music is more interesting. He’s more flamboyant and you really never know what to expect from him music. With Allen, you know you’re going to get adult contemporary music. Not sure if that will sell much music, but I’m sure his CD will be very good.
Just listened to Kris Allen’s first single titled “Live Like We’re Dying” and I really, really liked it. It definitely has that perfect radio sound to it and is probably one of the better first album singles I’ve heard come out of an Idol winner for quite some time.
BuddyTV.com has posted its “40 Sexiest Reality Stars of the 2008-2009 Season” and a few “American Idol” contestants – and one judge – have made the list. In fact, one “Idol” singer is No. 1!
Visit BuddyTV to see where they’re ranked, but I can tell you the following people are on the list: judge Kara DioGuardi; singers Matt Giraud, Megan Joy, Adam Lambert and Kris Allen. How in the world Megan Joy found herself on the list is beyond me. I’ll continue to say that little Alexis Grace (right) is much sexier than Megan Joy and they could have put her in this top 40, especially after her “Dirty Diana” performance.
I wonder what Simon would say: He’s not on the list!
“American Idol” winner Kris Allen has signed with 19 Recordings today. According to a press release, his records have been licensed to Jive Records.
His single, “No Boundaries,” currently ranks No. 23 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Singles chart. Allen’s two singles from the “Idol” show – “Heartless” and “Ain’t No Sunshine” – are doing well on iTunes as well.
Allen’s debut album is slated for release late Fall 2009.
“American Idol” winner Kris Allen sang the national anthem in Los Angeles prior to Game 2 of the NBA finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Orlando Magic.
Well, it’s almost here … SHOWDOWN: Kris vs. Adam … David vs. Goliath? Adam will shine tonight, I have no doubt. Kris will likewise be strong. But who will pick up Danny’s votes? The winner will come from that vote…. agree?
