Shania Twain on ‘Idol’

When I posted earlier that I thought Shania Twain would be a great addition to sit in the judge’s chair, I had no idea it would actually happen!

According to Associated Press, a spokesman for “Idol” said Tuesday that Twain will take part in the Chicago auditions set for the end of August.

The article also reported that Kelly Clarkson, one of the Jonas Brothers also may end up as guest judges, but it was yet to be confirmed.

So we’re getting all of these guest judges for the auditions … I wonder if they’ll stick with the three-person format during competition. I’d hate to have a new judge in each week; three judges would be sufficient.

What do you think about Shania Twain, Kelly Clarkson and one of the Jonas Brothers as guest judges?

The first “American Idol” winner Kelly Clarkson sang the national anthem before the first regular season baseball game at the new Yankee Stadium on Thursday in New York.
