Mr. Dreadlocks now has a Mrs.

Season 7 finalist Jason Castro, 22, married Mandy Mayhall in his hometown near Dallas, according to People.com

In late December, Jason’s official website posted news of his upcoming release of a new five-song collection, entitled “The Love Uncompromised EP,” to be released digitally on Jan. 12th. The CD will be available at the merch booths on Jason’s upcoming tour.

His latest single is the very enjoyable “Let’s Just Fall In Love Again.” (Wonder if that’s his new bride in the video?) I really like this tune and wished it would get some decent radio play. Let’s get this former “Idol” moving up the charts!

Third runner-up in 2008 Jason Castro (Mr. Dreadlocks) has just released his new single “Let’s Just Fall In Love Again.” When I first started listening to it, I thought I might hear a Jason Mraz clone, but it’s not that at all.

I wonder if radio will play this song. I personally enjoy “Let’s Just Fall In Love Again.” I like the beat and the 50s feel to it. It’s definitely something different that what is being played on radio right now. We’ll see if listeners and iTunes buyers embrace the tune. Take a listen and read the lyrics at JasonCastroMusic.com

Remember Jason Castro from Season 7? He was on “Idol Wrap” recently and sang his tune “Love Uncompromised.” Probably would have been a lot better without the singer next to him, but still a pretty decent effort.
