Associated Press also captured a photo of Underwood with her fiance, NHL player Mike Fisher (at right), as they arrived at the Grammy Awards.
Season four champ Carrie Underwood is going to host a two-hour variety special that will air on Fox in December and one of her musical guests will be another “Idol” champ – David Cook.
According to an Associated Press article, the tentative date is Dec. 7. She will perform new music from her new album (due out Nov. 3), some previous hits and also holiday classics.
Other musical guests include Dolly Parton and Brad Paisley.

I came across this video featuring David Cook and Carrie Underwood singing a duet to Fleetwood Mac’s “Your Own Way.” The video isn’t spectacular, but it does show that Cook and Underwood sound great together. This pairing was part of the grand opening of the new “American Idol Experience” attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on February 12, 2009.

Remember what Simon Cowell said about her during season 4? “Carrie, I’m going to make a prediction. Not only will you win this show, you will sell more records than any other previous Idol winner.” Now I read the other day that Kelly Clarkson is the No. 1 seller of American Idol winners, however, Underwood is not far behind.
