I debated whether or not to have another Power Rankings since no one left “Idol” last week, but I think maybe it needs revisited.

So, with a little bit of tweaking, here are my ratings of the singers with 7 singers remaining (last week’s ranking is in parenthesis):

1. (1) Adam Lambert - No change here once again.

2. (3) Allison Iraheta – She gets better and better each week.

3. (2) Danny Gokey- He seems to be giving some great performances, but not quite at the level of Adam or Allison. It seems like Danny simply has what it takes and really that’s all he’ll need anyway for his musical career.

4. (5) Kris Allen – Kris moves up this week and I think he’s one of the darkhorses in this competition. One slip-up from Danny could potentially jump Kris into the top 3.

5. (4) Matt Giraud – Thanks to the judges’ save, Matt returns again and this time he’ll have to bring his best if he wants to stay around. But I still think he’s better than Anoop and Lil.

6. (6) Lil Rounds - She needs help this week, because she’s really, really struggled the last three weeks. I’m not sure how she’ll do during Disco Week, though.

7. (8) Anoop Desai - Is there a ballad disco song Anoop can sing? The only way he’s stayed in the competition the last few weeks was due to his ballad singing. Let’s hope he doesn’t jazz it up, because when he does that, he normally lands in the bottom 3.

Out. No one.

Your thoughts?
