On May 27, Lil Rounds returned to Memphis, Tenn., with a parade and lots of special recognition. This video is from the Memphis Commercial Appeal newspaper’s “Appeal TV”:
I came across this video featuring David Cook and Carrie Underwood singing a duet to Fleetwood Mac’s “Your Own Way.” The video isn’t spectacular, but it does show that Cook and Underwood sound great together. Well, it’s almost here … SHOWDOWN: Kris vs. Adam … David vs. Goliath? Adam will shine tonight, I have no doubt. Kris will likewise be strong. But who will pick up Danny’s votes? The winner will come from that vote…. agree?
There’s been a lot of discussion based on this question: Which group of finalists is the best ever on “American Idol.”
In looking over all of the finalists in the past eight seasons, it is a tough choice. You can make an argument for a lot of these groups. For instance, I initially thought Season 5 was weak because Taylor Hicks and Katharine McPhee were Nos. 1 and 2. But look at the others in the semifinals: Daughtry, Kellie Pickler, Bucky Covington and Mandisa – they have all had hit records; and Kevin “Chicken Little” Covais co-starred in the 2008 comedy film, “College,” as a character named Morris. So this group turned out pretty solid and maybe is one of the top.
Here are the groups – you can vote and comment on which group you think is the best and worst (more…)
