As I sit here reflecting on tonight’s show while eating Sugar Babies (I love those!), I have to say that I really enjoyed watching the show tonight. I’m not from the Rat Pack era, but the music is easy on the ears (at least when Adam isn’t singing) and simply fun.
Rat Pack week … with Jaime Foxx as the mentor? He was very good as a mentor, especially with Danny. Did you love it when he got right up to Danny’s face and made him sing? That was hilarious!
I thought when the show started that Simon might have been in “a mood” because Kris and Allison were taking some hard shots from him. But as the show progressed, I could see why. Matt, Danny and Adam’s performances were head-and-shoulders above Kris and just a bit ahead of Allison.
Is there a bottom 3 this week, or bottom 2? I can’t remember when they drop the bottom 3.
Based on what I’m snacking on tonight, I’ll change up the review ratings just a bit. Here are my reviews of the performances shortly after they took the stage:

It was a busy Wednesday for judge Kara DioGuardi. Along with her gig on ‘American Idol’ Wednesday, the songwriter also attended the US Weekly Hot Hollywood Style Celebration in Los Angeles. Also on Wednesday, DioGuardi performed the song “Realize” during the 26th Annual American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) Pop Music Awards in Los Angeles.
